Armstrong gives career advice and guidance at BBJ annual networking and mentoring event for young women 

Kathy Armstrong, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional with Heritage Financial Consultants and a Premier Partner with Lincoln Financial Advisors, recently participated in the Baltimore Business Journal’s Mentoring Monday event, serving as a career coach and sharing tips and insights with young aspiring professionals in the Baltimore area.

The Baltimore Business Journal’s Mentoring Monday is an annual event that brings together local business women who are dedicated to the advancement of women in business. Mentoring Monday is a “speed dating” style coaching event that allows young women across the Baltimore area to receive one-on-one career guidance and counsel from accomplished, successful women across a variety of industries, including financial services, communications, technology and education.

Armstrong is a strong advocate for women and is committed to empowering the next generation to succeed. In addition to participating in Mentoring Monday, Armstrong mentors young women at Heritage, and has been recognized as a leader in both the local community and industry. She has been named to The Daily Record’s list of Top 100 Women and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland and Women United for the United Way of Central Maryland.
